A maioria substitui os Torino GV Volvo B7R provenientes da outra empresa do grupo, a Viação Santa Edwiges. Eles vieram verdes  e se foram verdes. Mas outras linhas que não contavam com estes veiculos foram contemplados, como as linhas 8102, 8108,9214. Trata-se de um Apache S-21 Mercedes-Benz Motor traseiro. A foto foi tirada na Rua Três Pontas, no Padre Eustáquio. Vi pelo menos uns quatro e estou enviando a foto de dois deles são chassi/motor Mercedes-Benz OF-1722. A primeira foto foi feita na Oiapoque com Curitiba, antes do viaduto. Apesar de os moradores ajudarem no desenvolvimento socioeconômico de BH, pois muitos trabalham e estudam na cidade, a quantidade de coletivos de outras localidades não obedeceu a um planejamento correto, deixando o já caótico trânsito ainda mais lento. A região mais afetada é o hipercentro: das 302 linhas que circulam no local, 129 (43%) vêm de fora. Elas representam 776 veículos só no horário de pico da manhã (6h às 8h30). O Departamento de Estradas de Rodagem de Minas Gerais (DER/MG), que gerencia o sistema, não tem estudos sobre a evolução dos vermelhões nos últimos anos, mas o grande número de coletivos prejudica o trânsito nas principais vias de BH. Na Avenida Amazonas, entrada para quem é de Contagem, Betim, Igarapé e região, são 45 linhas e sublinhas. Um total de 208 ônibus, entre 6h e 8h30. Em contrapartida, apenas 33 linhas municipais, gerenciadas pela BHTrans, circulam pelo corredor. Na Antônio Carlos são mais 38 metropolitanas – 187 veículos – que saem de Confins, Pedro Leopoldo, Lagoa Santa e outras cidades. Na Cristiano Machado, as 25 linhas representam 109 ônibus na pista no horário de trânsito pesado. O resultado é um trânsito congestionado e muitas reclamações. O servidor público Guilherme Ribeiro de Freitas, de 25 anos, morador do Bairro Salgado Filho, na região Oeste, critica a falta de um sistema eficiente que integre o transporte público. “A quantidade de ônibus metropolitanos é um problema. Estações deveriam ser construídas para esses veículos, a exemplo das implantadas pelo BHBus”. A recepcionista Euceni Paulina de Moura, de 42, mora em Ribeirão das Neves e diz que seu ônibus passa por muitos lugares até chegar ao ponto perto de sua casa: “Uma ligação com o metrô ou com a estação BHBus seria mais rápida”, afirma. Sem saída Apesar das reclamações, o sistema está longe de ter uma solução. A integração com o metrô já ocorre nas estações São Gabriel, região Nordeste, e Eldorado, em Contagem, onde 25 linhas fazem baldeação e outras 122 deixam os passageiros no local e retornam ao ponto inicial. Cerca de 26% dos passageiros são usuários dos vermelhões. O percentual poderia ser maior, mas o percurso do trem metropolitano, que vai do Eldorado até a Estação Vilarinho, no Venda Nova, limita o planejamento. A Companhia Brasileira de Trens Urbanos (CBTU) pretende instalar outras duas linhas: uma da Pampulha à Savassi e outra do Barreiro ao Santa Tereza (região Leste). Mas, na melhor previsão, os dois percursos só estarão prontos em 2012.
